In a special meeting held on July 9, 2024, the CISD School Board approved a $2.9 million bid to Paragon Sports Constructors (PSC) to initiate construction of brand-new baseball and softball fields. This comprehensive project includes installing turf, lighting, and fencing, crucial for creating state-of-the-art facilities for our students.
Bobby Killion, Vice President of Operations, and Tim Buchanan, Business Development representative and esteemed retired Head Coach of the Aledo Bearcats, were both present at the meeting. They provided valuable insights and answered all inquiries from our board members.
Both gentlemen underscored their dedication to establishing an enduring partnership with CISD and fostering a culture of excellence within our community. PSC, renowned for their work at Globe Life Field and as the official sports field contractor for the Texas Rangers, was the ideal choice for this significant undertaking, given their extensive experience and outstanding portfolio.
