💙💛Colorado FFA members Wyatte Roller and Alejandra Garza spent last Saturday helping recognize the unveiling of the 45th historic marker in Mitchell County by posting the flags and helping with the pledges. This Spade historical marker celebration took place 12 miles down Hwy 163 next to the old Wildhorse Creek Bridge and near the old townsite of Spade. We were excited to witness the marker dedication and living history presentations.

This unique opportunity brings NASA directly to our CHS Students, offering hands-on STEM activities, stunning NASA imagery, and immersive audio/visual technology. It’s a chance to dive into the latest discoveries, learn about NASA’s missions, and explore how space exploration impacts our everyday lives. From our return to the moon to the future of exploration beyond Earth’s orbit, the exhibit will energize and inspire! We can't wait!

🐺‼Yesterday, our 1st graders had the honor of hearing from Jamie Alvarez, who spoke to them about their body systems! His visit was the perfect way to wrap up our lesson on how our bodies work. The students were excited to learn and ask questions!

🐺‼⚡Our CHS Welding Department has been on fire with some impressive projects! They’ve crafted new clothing racks, created the name plaque for our new Buddy Compton Boardroom, and repaired both a BBQ pit and a maintenance trailer. In addition, they’ve been making personalized name plates for our teachers while also building and installing brand-new welding dividers in the shop. This hands-on experience ignites a life skill that will last a lifetime!
